Wendy Naruse – 1st grade Math: Ms. Wendy lives in Hawaii, and she is a fun and energic teacher. Her students will gain from the benefits of her culture and belief in education. She will take students on an adventure in Math that you cannot believe. Ms. Wendy and her sidekick Felix teaches you how math surrounds you.
By utilizing worksheets, videos and visual aids, students will discover a whole new world with numbers. Learning Math will no longer let the fear of it hound your child. Ms. Wendy will open doors for them. All they need to do is walk through. See what Ms. Wendy and Felix have in store for you and watch her video. Jay Fish – 1st and 2nd grade language arts, 3rd-4th grade science, 1st and 2nd grade Music/art and beginner sign language (for all grades) What a bubbly and fun-loving lady and a “hands-on” kind of teacher. She talks with her hands!!! And it is truly fun to watch her teach and educate our students.
Jay will be guiding our children on several platforms. From Language arts to math and Science. Ms. Jay leaves no stone unturned in your child’s education status with her. Within her class, students will pick up other little tidbits of learning as well as fantastic little nuggets to help you along your educational journey. Jackie Starling: 1st grade math/reading, 3rd grade math/science, 4th grade Math Things are all a BUZZ here at Brainfood about this amazing elementary teacher! Mrs. Starling is all a total buzz in learning math, reading and science. She uses her educational expertise, across several grades, to help further your child’s education. Let her put the Buzz in your child’s ear about learning. She has many years of experience in the educational system, and brings all that knowledge to our Brainfood Academy. Matthew Janecek: 2nd – 5th grade Histories: This guy loves to bring discussion back into the classroom with history? Mr. Matt is the guy who will enlighten, enthrall and enrapture the student in everything history. He loves bringing back intellectual conversation and discussion. He believes that you cannot know the future until you understand the past and how it relates to the present. And, we at Brainfood totally agree. Dawn Tulini: 1st – 4th grade Language Arts: Get ready for the Dawn of a new era with Language arts. Ms. Dawn will challenge your child in everything that relates to language arts. This includes reading, spelling, arts, crafts and writing. By creating stories within their own foundations, she will build their confidence and will guide your student on an adventure of a lifetime in the art of language arts. Your child will be a wiz at spelling, the ability to write well and carry on in-depth and meaningful conversations. Mary George – 5th grade Math: Mary, Mary is not so contrary when it comes to math. With fun loving skill, Ms. Mary will bring fun loving skills and take you on an adventure with math. Math is all around you in everything and Ms. Mary will show you all about it. In her class, you will understand and enjoy learning numbers, equations and sentences relative to numbers. Numbers need not be scary!! Ms. Mary’s adventure in learning with math will alleviate any learning math anxiety and adversity. With patience and guidance, she will endeavor to make sure your child leaves her class with a full understanding of everything in 5th grade math.
